# About Torque & Orbit

We build and run websites for manufacturers and engineering firms. We build each site first, and the owner decides after.

## Why we exist

Most manufacturers win work on quality and delivery, not on marketing. But buyers now search Google and ask AI tools before they call a supplier. Many good shops do not show up in those results.

We build sites for the way engineers and buyers search: by process, material, tolerance, part size and certification. Every page uses your real numbers and your own technical terms.

## Why we build first

Most agencies ask for a deposit before you see anything. We want you to see the work first. After a 15-minute call, we build your complete site at no charge. If you go live, it is $199 per month with no contract. If not, you pay nothing.

## Why the name

Torque is the force you apply. Orbit is the path you stay on. We put force behind your site, then keep you in your buyers' view.

## How we build every site

- PageSpeed 90 or higher on mobile and desktop, tested before launch
- Structured data checked with Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator
- Server-rendered pages, a sitemap, robots.txt and an llms.txt summary for AI tools
- A form with spam protection, and your email on every page
- A cookie banner, and no tracking before consent
- No credential or claim goes live until you confirm it in writing

We build with Astro and host on Cloudflare. We track search and AI visibility with DataForSEO, and Google Maps ranks with OpenSEO.
